Funded Construction

We are over here in Ramkrishna Nagar, just down the second lane from the main road. It's a quiet spot in Palakkad near the N.S.S. Engineering College area. We started Funded Construction because we know this neighborhood well and there’s always something needing to be built or fixed around here. My family has been at Panakkal House for a long time, so setting up the office right here felt like the right move for us. Most days you’ll find us talking to folks about their housing plans or looking over some blueprints on the desk. It’s not a fancy setup. We just have our desks, some papers, and the phone keeps ringing with questions about cement or laborers. Being in Kerala, we deal with a lot of rain, so we have to plan our building schedules around the weather quite a bit. It’s hard work and the sun gets pretty hot out there on the sites. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and different spots around the city. Sometimes things get a bit messy with all the dust, but that’s just part of the job. We know most of the people on this street by name. It’s nice being a local face that people can just drop in on when they have a project in mind. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of what we do comes from people just knowing where we are.
