Freelance Accounting Consultant

My name is Babu Kannath and I run my accounting consultancy from my home, Kannath House. We are located on 11th Cross in Rameshnagar, Bangalore. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time, which is good when you’re trying to crunch numbers. I’ve been doing this for a while, helping people with their taxes and accounts without all the fuss of a big firm. I don't have a flashy office downtown. Instead, I work from a room I set up here. People usually come by with their folders and receipts, and we sit down and go through everything. It’s a very direct way of working. I handle all the paperwork myself, so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Rameshnagar is a nice part of Bangalore, even if the roads are a bit narrow in some places. I like being able to work where I live. It saves on the commute, which anyone in this city can appreciate. My desk is usually piled high with ledgers and documents, especially when it’s tax season. I don’t use any complicated software that nobody understands; I just stick to what works and make sure the math adds up. It's just me here, providing a simple service to folks who need their accounts sorted out properly. It's a small practice but it keeps me busy enough every day. It works out for everyone involved.
