Folklore Restaurant

The kitchen here in Carmelaram 121/1 gets pretty loud around noon. We usually start the day checking what we have in the pantry and making sure the stove is working right. It’s not a big fancy operation, just a few of us trying to get things done. Sometimes the door sticks when it rains, so we have to give it a good kick to get it open. We spend most of our time chopping onions or washing up after a busy lunch. Folklore Restaurant isn’t some corporate chain with manuals for everything. We just know how we like things to taste. Some days are slower than others and we just sit around the back table talking about whatever is on the news or the neighborhood gossip. The address is Carmelaram 121/1 if anyone is looking for us, though the sign outside is a bit faded from the sun now. We’ve been here for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Working in food is tiring on the feet and your hands always smell like garlic or onions, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say to people. We just open the shutters, put the big pots on, and see who walks in. It’s a simple life really, just keeping the floors swept and the food hot enough for whoever comes by Carmelaram.
