Focus English Institute

If you find yourself in Kammanahalli, we are over on Srinivas Reddy Lane. Specifically, No.35, 2nd Cross, 3rd Main. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Bangalore, but if you look for the Hot Spice Nokia Mobile Showroom, you’re pretty close to Focus English Institute. This part of town is always changing, with new shops popping up all the time. Our institute is a place where people come to get better at English. We have students from all walks of life, some young and some quite a bit older. Usually, there’s a lot of talking going on in the classrooms as people practice their speaking. We use some simple books and the whiteboards are always covered in grammar notes and new vocabulary. It isn’t a corporate school with glass walls; it’s more of a neighborhood spot. The street outside can be a bit tight for parking, so most people just walk or take an auto. We’ve got a small staff and we mostly focus on getting the lessons done. Sometimes we have tea breaks where everyone forgets about the grammar and just chats. It gets busy in the evenings when people finish their jobs and come here for classes. We don't promise anything impossible, we just sit down and work on the language together. It’s a steady kind of work, watching people slowly find the right words to say what they mean.
