There are stacks of paper and empty tea cups on the tables by five o'clock. We started here because the location made sense for getting around. Ashwath Nagar has a certain energy to it that keeps us moving. The neighbors are mostly quiet, which is nice when we have to concentrate on a tricky file. We don’t have any fancy signage out front, just the name and the door. Sometimes people get a bit lost looking for Mr Lane but once they find us, they say it’s a calm spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at screens. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just show up, handle the projects, and go home. On Fridays, the office feels a bit more relaxed, but the work never really stops. It's just us doing our thing at number 124. We just keep plugging away at it until the sun goes down.
