Fobs Architects

Up on the first floor of the Sri Ram Building, you’ll find Fobs Architects. We are located at No. 1805/6 on 23rd Cross in Govindaraj Nagar. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. The office itself is usually a mess of sample materials, color swatches, and half-finished drawings. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street below. There’s a lot of light that comes in through the front windows in the afternoon, which is nice for drawing but makes the room a bit warm. We don't spend much on decorations because the walls are covered in project schedules and rough sketches anyway. People in Govindaraj Nagar know where we are if they need a plan drawn up. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around. We just like sitting down with a pencil and figuring out how a house should look. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. Sometimes the computers act up, and we have to go back to doing things by hand for a while. It’s a small group of us here, and we usually eat lunch together at the big drafting table. It’s simple work, really, just making sure things are built the way they were meant to be. We stay busy with whatever comes through the door.
