Our office, Bhramari, is located at 99 on the IV Main in Meenakshi Layout. This is a bit further into the Bangalore grid, and it’s a place that feels very established. Being on the 4th Main means we see the same people walking their dogs or heading to the shops every day. Flowserve India Controls Private Limited operates out of this building, which isn't some shiny steel tower but a sturdy, reliable structure. We like the layout of the office; it’s got a bit of an older style that you don’t see in the new IT parks. There’s no cafeteria, so we usually bring our own lunches or head out to the small eateries around the corner. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy. We don't have any scripted ways of talking to each other. It’s just plain English and getting things done. The Karnataka weather keeps things pleasant for most of the year, though the rain can make the 4th Main a bit muddy and slow things down. We’ve got plenty of shelves filled with technical manuals and old projects. It’s the kind of place where you know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don't put on a show for anyone. We just work here, manage the business, and go about our lives in this little slice of the city.
