Floor Concepts

Floor Concepts is based over at Kendriya Sadan 429. It’s not a very large place, but we make it work. We have been selling flooring here for a while. The walls are lined with different samples of wood, tile, and laminate. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we are always pulling things out to show people. We don't have a polished showroom with marble floors. Our own floor is just regular concrete. It’s practical. When you come in, you'll probably see us moving boxes or checking the inventory. We don't wear uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy things. People come to us when they are tired of the big stores and want something simple. We don't have any brochures to give out. We just show you what we have in the warehouse or what we can order in. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to call around to see where the truck is. That’s just part of the business. We try to be honest about how long things take. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to provide decent flooring to anyone who walks through the door at Kendriya Sadan. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time, except when the school nearby lets out and traffic gets stuck. We sit on plastic chairs and drink tea.
