Fidelity Investments

Our office, Fidelity Investments, is tucked away in the Himagiri Enclave over at G6B in a building called "Raghavam". Being in Bangalore, we are surrounded by a lot of tech and noise, but our little spot in the enclave stays relatively quiet most of the time. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the walk into work a bit nicer than if we were in a huge glass tower downtown. We handle a lot of numbers and financial stuff, which can get a bit dry if you think about it too much, so we try to keep the atmosphere in the office light. We have a few desks squeezed into the space and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use every morning. The address at 560 093 isn't hard to find once you know which lane to turn into. We aren't the type of place that has a big sign out front or a lot of security guards. Most of our day is spent at our computers, checking on things and making sure the records are straight. It’s practical work, and we take it seriously, even if we aren't wearing fancy suits every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a few minutes to talk about something other than work. We’ve been in Karnataka for a while now and we like the pace here. It’s just a normal office where people work hard and go home.
