Fava

Fava is situated on Lavelle Road at the 16th Cross near Sampige Road. It’s a pretty nice area with a lot of trees and old buildings around us. The restaurant has a lot of windows, so we get plenty of natural light during the day, which helps because our indoor lights are a bit soft. We spend a lot of time setting up the tables before the lunch crowd arrives. Lavelle Road is a bit upscale, but we try to keep things relaxed inside. The kitchen staff is always busy with prep work, mostly cutting up fresh greens and getting the sauces ready. We have a lot of regular customers who come from the nearby offices for their midday break. The floor is made of dark wood and it creaks a little when you walk over certain spots. I usually spend my time checking the reservations and making sure the glasses are clean. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three large groups show up at the same time without calling ahead, but we manage to find space for everyone eventually. The atmosphere is quiet compared to the main road outside. We don't have any loud music or flashy decorations. It’s just a place where you can sit down and have a decent meal without feeling rushed. We stay open until fairly late, and the street looks really nice when the lamps come on in the evening. It’s a good spot to work.
