Fasteners World-Imperial Fasteners

Our shop is tucked away at No. 189 V. R. N Lane, just off the S. P Road Cross. If you have ever been to S. P Road, you know it is the place to go when you need hardware, but finding a specific lane can be a bit of a puzzle. We have been running Fasteners World-Imperial Fasteners from this spot for quite some time. The shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with every kind of bolt, nut, and screw you can think of. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. Most of the day is spent climbing ladders to find exactly the right size fastener for a customer who walked in. We do not have a computer system that tells us everything instantly; often, it is just about knowing which shelf holds the brass fittings and which one has the steel ones. The air smells a bit like oil and metal, which is how a hardware store should be. We get all sorts of people coming in, from builders to people trying to fix a chair at home. We do not use fancy sales tactics. We just find the part, weigh it or count it, and that is that. It is a busy life in the lane, with carts and people constantly moving past our door. We just keep the lights on and help whoever shows up at the counter with their hardware needs.
