You can find us over in Jayanagar 9th Block, right at number 828 in the Corporation Colony area. It’s on 28th B Main. There is always a smell of new rubber in the air because of all the stacks we keep out back. It’s not a very big shop, but we’ve managed to squeeze quite a bit in here over the years. Mostly, we are busy with people coming in because they hit a pothole or their treads are getting too thin for the rain. We see all kinds of vehicles, from small scooters to the big cars that people drive around this part of town. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or dirt from the wheels. We don't have a waiting room with fancy magazines. Usually, customers just stand around and chat with us while we work on their car or bike. It's a straightforward job, really. You take the old ones off and put the new ones on, then make sure everything is balanced right so the steering doesn't wobble. Sometimes we have to stay late when someone comes in with a flat right as we’re closing up, but that’s part of being in this business. We know the regulars in the colony and they know they can just drop by when they have a problem. It’s just how we do things here and we have been at it for a while.
