Essar Enterprises

You can find Essar Enterprises at 3318/A, right on the 4th Cross of the 2nd Main in Gayathri Nagar. It’s a residential-looking area that has slowly filled up with small businesses like ours. The building is a bit older, with those heavy metal shutters that make a lot of noise when we open them up in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stock and a couple of desks for the paperwork. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The 4th Cross is a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a truck comes to drop off goods. We’ve had to help move some bikes out of the way more than a few times. The air in the office smells a bit like paper and old wood. We keep a fan going most of the day because it gets stuffy, especially in the afternoons. It’s not the kind of place that would impress a fancy designer, but it’s functional for what we do. We mostly deal with local folks and regulars who have been coming to us for years. There’s a small park nearby where we sometimes sit for ten minutes to get some air. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just keeping the inventory moving and making sure the bills are paid on time.
