Equilibrium Climbing Station

Equilibrium Climbing Station is way up on the 6th floor of Devatha Plaza. We are right on Residency Road, directly across from Bishop Cotton High School. It’s a bit of a unique spot for a climbing gym, being that high up in an office building. We like it because you get a decent view of this part of Bangalore from the windows. The space at No.606 is filled with climbing walls and mats. It’s not like a standard gym with treadmills and rows of weights. We have a lot of plywood and holds bolted everywhere. The place has a bit of a chalky smell, which is normal for a climbing gym. We spend a lot of time changing the routes on the walls so things don't get boring for the regulars. It’s a lot of manual labor. We aren't a big franchise; we’re just people who really enjoy climbing. The elevator in Devatha Plaza can be a bit slow sometimes, so you have to be patient. Most of the people who come here are from around the 560025 area or work in the nearby offices. It’s a friendly group. We don't have a lot of corporate polish. The mats are a bit worn, and the walls have scuffs from shoes, but that’s how it should be. It’s a working gym for people who like to move. We focus on the climbing itself rather than fancy amenities. If you're coming in, just look for the sixth floor.
