We operate out of the first floor at 132 Basaveshwara Nagar in the GIDC Vatwa area. Being in an industrial estate like Vatwa means things are always moving. There’s the sound of machinery and trucks all day long. We’ve been at this location for a good while, focusing on instruments and control systems. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have workbenches, testing equipment, and shelves full of parts. At Epoch Instruments & Controls, we spend our time calibrating sensors and putting together control panels. The air is often thick with the smell of solder and grease, which is just how an engineering shop should be. We aren't big on fancy meetings or corporate talk. We just sit down and solve the technical problems our customers bring to us. Most of the people working here have been in the trade for years. We know the local industries around Vatwa well because we’re often inside their factories fixing things. It’s a busy environment and we’re usually juggling a few different jobs at once. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic, but we always find what we need in the end. The first-floor space gives us a bit of a view of the street, so we can see when deliveries arrive. We’re just a group of technicians and engineers who enjoy the hands-on side of the business. It’s a solid, honest way to make a living in this part of Ahmedabad.
