We operate out of a space in Kathri Guppe, right on the main road. The office is actually c/o Kullayappa at house number 22. It’s on the 8th cross in Vinayak Nagar. Bangalore is a big place, but this corner feels like home to us. At Emmvee Toughened Glass&Photovoltaics, we spend a lot of time thinking about glass and solar panels. It’s a bit of a niche, but it's what we know. The traffic on Kathri Guppe Main Road is always something to talk about, but we manage to get our shipments in and out. It’s a practical business. We deal with toughened glass which is heavy and needs careful handling. Then there's the photovoltaic side, which is all about the sun. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass tower. We’re just a group of people working in a busy neighborhood. Some days are long, especially when we have a big order to get out. We try to keep things organized, though the office usually has glass samples and papers everywhere. People come to us when they need something specific for their windows or roofs. We don't make big promises, we just show them what we have and get to work. It's a living, and we enjoy being part of the local scene here. It gets a bit noisy with the main road traffic, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
