If you head behind the Revansiddeshwar Temple in Ambedakar Nagar, you’ll find us. We’re out here in Chikodi, part of the Belgaum district. Emmeanul Construcation is just a small outfit. We mostly work on things around the village and nearby areas. It's a quiet place, but there’s always something that needs fixing or building. We keep our tools and supplies ready for whatever comes up. Most of the guys here grew up in the area, so we know the land well. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Word of mouth usually gets us our jobs. Dealing with the heat and the dust is just how it goes in this part of Karnataka. We spend our days at the sites and our evenings finishing up the day's notes. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the buildings we put up are solid and serve their purpose. Living and working near the temple means we see a lot of our neighbors every day. It makes you want to do a good job since you can't really hide if something goes wrong. We just keep at it and hope for the best with the weather. It’s a simple life and the work is steady enough for us to keep going. We just do the best we can with what we have.
