Our place is at 138 in Nagarur Village, which is part of the Dasanapura area in Bengaluru. It’s quite a way out from the main city traffic, which is actually nice for a big operation like Emerson Industrial Automation Electric Power Generatin Pvt. Ltd. We have a lot of space out here for all the heavy gear we handle. Mostly, we work on electric power generation systems. It’s industrial work, so it’s not very quiet or clean. The guys spend most of their time on the shop floor with the machines. We’ve been at this location for years. The road to the village can be a bit bumpy, but we’re used to it. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just a place where people come to work. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we know the machines inside and out. We deal with a lot of technical stuff every day. The office part is just a few desks where we handle the orders and paperwork. We grab lunch at the local spots nearby. It’s a practical environment for practical people. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the companies we work with already know where we are. We just focus on keeping the power equipment running like it should and meeting the production deadlines for the week.
