Our place is located at 47 P in the KIADB Hardware Park over in Huvinayakanahalli, which is part of Yelahanka. It’s a long name for a place, but it’s where all the hardware stuff is happening these days. At Elmeasure India, we spend our time working on energy meters and different types of measuring tools. The park is still developing, so there’s always construction noise nearby. Our building is pretty modern compared to some older shops, but inside it’s just people working hard. We’ve got a lot of sensitive equipment, so we try to keep the dust down, which isn't easy in a developing area. The commute out to Yelahanka can be a bit of a pain with the traffic, but we’re used to it now. We aren't looking to impress anyone with big words. We just want our meters to work right so people don't have problems. It’s a technical job, but we talk about it in plain English. Most of us have been here since the company moved to this plot. We’ve seen the hardware park grow from nothing to what it is today. It’s a good spot for this kind of work. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the technical details. If you come by, you’ll see we’re just regular people trying to do a solid job in the measuring business. We usually have a lot of parts spread out on the benches and some tools lying around.
