Eliel Designs

Started here in Ulsoor 42 a while back. It's just a small spot. Most days we are just hunched over desks. Eliel Designs isn't a huge firm, just a few of us working on what people need. The street gets pretty noisy around lunch time, but you get used to it. We drink way too much tea. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend half the morning fixing it instead of drawing. People walk in asking for directions more than they ask for designs sometimes, which is funny. We've got sketches piled up in the corner. It isn't fancy. There’s a leaky tap in the back room we keep meaning to call someone for. We focus on the work, though. Ulsoor has changed a lot since we moved in. More traffic now. We try to keep things simple here. Nothing too complicated. If you stop by, you'll probably see us arguing over a measurement or where to put a window in a drawing. It’s just how we do things. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. Just some chairs and a lot of paper. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the street gets quiet finally. That’s when the work gets done easier usually. It’s just us, Eliel Designs, doing our bit in this corner of the city. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and it feels like home, even with the dust.
