Our place is located at 35/36 in Bandapura Village, which is about 17 kilometers out on the Old Madras Road. It is a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s quieter out here, which helps when you are trying to focus on Electronic Research Pvt. Ltd. The building is functional and sits on a decent bit of land. We spend most of our time in the lab areas or at the testing benches. It isn't a high-rise office building; it’s more of a practical facility where we can actually get things built and tested without too many distractions. The commute along Old Madras Road can be a bit much with all the construction and the trucks, but once you get inside the gates at Bandapura, it’s a different pace. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work is about the technical details and making sure the circuits and boards we research are doing what they are supposed to. There’s always a soldering iron heating up somewhere or someone staring at a screen. We eat our lunch together and talk about whatever project is giving us trouble that day. It’s a straightforward environment. We just do the research, look at the data, and try to make things work better than they did yesterday. It's quiet, steady work.
