Electrical Engineer

I’m an electrical engineer based out of the 560 058 area in Bangalore. If you know this part of the city, you know it is usually buzzing with all sorts of industrial activity and small workshops. I’ve been working around here for quite some time now, mostly dealing with the kind of electrical issues that pop up in a busy urban setting like this one. Bangalore has changed so much since I first started, with new buildings going up everywhere and the traffic getting a lot worse, but the basic need for good wiring never really goes away. I don't spend much time in a fancy office; most of my day is spent on-site or driving between different locations to check on progress. It is a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when you are trying to navigate through the city streets to get to a client before the day ends. I keep things pretty simple and just focus on the task at hand without a lot of fuss. Most of my clients are people I’ve known for years or folks who heard about me from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a very hands-on job and I usually end the day with some grease or dust on my clothes, but that’s just part of being an engineer. I don’t see myself doing anything else, really, as there is always something new to figure out and the city keeps providing plenty of challenges to stay busy.
