Our office for Ela Builders And Developers is tucked away in Kammanahalli, right behind Church Road at Yuvathi Sharan. Bangalore-84 is a lively place to be, and we have been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We aren't one of those massive companies with glass towers; we prefer our small space here where we can actually talk to people. Dealing with building and developing means a lot of dusty shoes and long hours on site, which is what we spend most of our time doing. When we are back at the office, it’s mostly about coordinating with the crew and making sure the supplies are arriving on time. It can get a bit chaotic with all the phone calls and plans spread across the table, but we manage to get things moving. Kammanahalli has changed a lot since we started, with more shops and traffic every year, but we’ve stayed put. People stop by to ask about plots or construction updates, and we give them the straight story without any sugar-coating. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Most of our projects are local, so we see our clients at the market or the tea shop pretty often. It keeps us accountable and we like knowing the people we build for personally.
