EFS Facility Services India Pvt Ltd has its office on the 4th floor of No. 43 in HAL 2nd Stage. We are right in Indiranagar, across from the Empire Hotel and near the BSNL office. It’s a very busy part of the city. We spend our days managing the upkeep of various buildings and offices. It involves a lot of logistics, like making sure the plumbing is fixed and the security guards are on duty. The office is usually humming with the sound of people coordinating maintenance schedules. We have a lot of maps and spreadsheets pinned to the walls. Indiranagar is a great place to be based, though finding a quiet moment is hard. We aren't a corporate giant with a shiny lobby; we’re just a group of people working to keep other businesses running smoothly. Sometimes we’re dealing with an elevator that’s stuck, and other times we’re organizing a big cleaning crew. It’s practical, everyday work that most people don’t notice until something goes wrong. We try to stay ahead of the problems. Most of us have been in the facility industry for a long time. We know the quirks of Bangalore’s buildings, from the old ones to the new glass towers. We’re usually in the office early and out late, making sure everything is sorted. Being near the Empire Hotel means it always smells like food around lunchtime, which can be quite a distraction for us all. It's a hectic job, but we've got a good routine going.
