Our office is split between 778 and 412 on Usben Road. It sounds a bit confusing, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. Usben Road is a bit of a mix, some old buildings and some newer ones popping up. Our place falls more into the older category. We have shelves that are absolutely packed with files and ledgers. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paper, but there’s a system to it all, even if it doesn't look like it to an outsider. The desks are heavy wood and have been here since we opened. We usually start the morning by sorting through the mail and catching up on whatever came in late the day before. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us hunched over a desk. We take our lunch breaks at the same time most days, usually just bringing something from home or grabbing a quick bite nearby. The windows don’t let in much light, so we have those bright overhead lamps that stay on all day. It’s not the most modern looking place, but it’s where we get things done. People come to us because they know where we are on Usben Road and they know we’ve been here for ages.
