Durgashree Constructions

Our office is tucked away in Vidyaranyapura, specifically at 1076, 7th Block, 8th Cross in Hmt Layout. It's a quiet enough part of Bangalore compared to the center. Durgashree Constructions has been around here for some time now. We work on building projects, mostly local stuff. It’s a lot of coordination between laborers, site supervisors, and the folks who need things built. Construction isn't easy; there’s always something that needs fixing or a delay with materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites. Back at the office, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of blueprints rolled up in corners. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace. Some days the dust from the road gets in, but we just wipe it off. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the jobs we started. My tea gets cold while I'm talking to vendors. That happens often. People in the layout know us. We’ve done a few houses and some smaller repairs around this side of town. It’s hard work, but seeing a structure finally stand up is something else. We keep our records in old-fashioned files mostly. It works for us. Bangalore is full of construction these days, and we're just doing our bit in our own corner of the city. We try to keep things moving as best we can.
