Draft Man

You can find us at the Krishnappa Building. We are located near the Logica Call Center, which is a big place everyone around here knows. Our spot is in the Yamloor Post area of Bangalore, zip code 37. Being a Draft Man means we spend a lot of time hunched over tables and screens. The building itself is pretty plain. It’s just a local structure where several small businesses operate. The area around Yamloor has changed a lot with all the tech companies moving in nearby, like the call center. It’s much busier than it used to be years ago. Our office is not fancy. We have our drawing boards and some computers. There are usually rolls of paper sitting in the corners. It gets a bit cluttered because we have so many projects going on at once. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working. We get a lot of light through the windows in the afternoon, which helps with the drawing. The traffic in Bangalore is always a headache, so we try to get in early before it gets too bad. We just do our drafting work and stay out of the way. It’s a small operation. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to get the drawings right and keep things moving. That’s the long and short of it for us.
