Doorline Tech

If you ever walk down Krumbiegel Road near the Lalbagh Main Gate, you might have seen our place. We are at number 11-37. It is a busy stretch of road, especially when the flower shows are happening at the park. Doorline Tech is basically where we spend all our hours working on door fittings and hardware. It isn’t a very big shop, but we have managed to cram a lot of stock into the shelves over the years. I usually have a cup of tea in the morning while looking at the list of what needs to be delivered. The traffic outside can be a bit much, but being near Lalbagh is nice because of the trees and the air in the early mornings. We handle a lot of metal parts, hinges, and locks. My hands are often dusty from the boxes. We don’t really do fancy advertising; most people just hear about us from other contractors in the neighborhood. The building we are in is quite old, so we have to be careful with the wiring and the pipes. Sometimes customers come in looking for something very specific that was made thirty years ago, and we have to dig through the back room to find it. It is a bit of a mess back there, I admit. But we usually find what they need eventually. We just keep things moving, one order at a time, and hope the traffic isn't too bad.
