The Desi Soul Co. is based out of Domlur. If you know Bangalore, you know Domlur has a mix of everything, from old houses to new offices. We operate from a space here that feels pretty comfortable. It’s not one of those high-rise glass buildings. It’s more of a regular spot where we can actually think and work. The vibe in Domlur is a bit more relaxed than the city center, which we appreciate. We spend our hours here working on whatever needs to get done for the day. Sometimes we take a walk down the street to grab a coffee or just to get some air. The name of the company reflects a bit of how we feel about what we do, but we don't spend too much time overthinking it. We just show up and put in the hours. The office has bits and pieces of our work scattered around, and it's definitely not perfectly tidy. There’s a lot of energy in the air here, especially in the afternoons when everyone is busy. We’ve got a small team and we all just pitch in. Domlur is a good place for a business like ours because it feels central but still has some soul to it. We don't have any grand corporate plans, just the goal of finishing the week's tasks and starting again on Monday. It is a simple way to spend the work week.
