The Divyasree Developers office at Hema Villa on Netravathi Street is located in Uday Nagar, K R Puram. It’s a bit away from the main Bangalore city center, which makes it a different kind of place to work. Hema Villa is more of a converted house than a standard office block, giving it a bit of a personal feel. We work out of the rooms that used to be living spaces. Netravathi Street is a regular residential street, so we have houses all around us. It’s a quiet area for the most part, though the traffic near the K R Puram bridge can be a nightmare at certain times of the day. We have our desks set up in the main hall, and there’s always a lot of talk about current projects and site visits. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with shiny floors. Our floors are just regular tiles, and our furniture is whatever was practical at the time. We spend our time looking at maps of Uday Nagar and planning out how our next projects will fit into the local area. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the work rather than the appearance. We take our breaks on the small porch of the villa, and it’s a good way to clear our heads before getting back to the blueprints and the paperwork. It’s a decent place to spend our working hours.
