Divya Kariot Architect

We run things here at Divya Kariot Architect in Indiranagar, specifically at No. 76/1 in the Manisha Building. It’s on the 1st A Cross in the 1st Stage area, so it’s tucked away a little bit from the loud parts of the main road. Even so, you can still hear the city moving around us all day. Being on the first floor makes it easy for people to find us without having to wait for a slow elevator or climb too many stairs. The space inside is pretty simple. Our drafting tables are set up where the light is good. In the afternoons, it gets quite bright, which helps when looking at small details on a plan. We have lived and worked around this part of Indiranagar for a while, so we know the streets pretty well. The building itself is an older one, but it has a lot of character and our neighbors are mostly quiet office folks. Site maps and rolled-up blueprints are usually leaning against the corners of the room. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. Much of the day is spent on the phone or sketching out ideas on yellow trace paper. We don't really do much fancy stuff here, just the regular work of an architect trying to get things done. Sometimes we go out for a walk to grab some snacks nearby when the afternoon slump hits. It is just a regular office.
