Diamond Bucket Industries

We are Diamond Bucket Industries. Our workshop is in Vinayaka Nagar, specifically in the Avalahalli area off Mysore Road, at address 38 4 C. It’s a bit out of the way, tucked into a corner of the industrial belt. You have to look for the landmark near the main road to find the turn. We make buckets and other plastic items. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished products waiting to be moved. It’s a dusty place, being so close to Mysore Road, and the noise from the highway is always there in the background. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us since we started. The roof is made of tin sheets, so when it rains, it gets incredibly loud inside—you can’t even hear yourself think. We have a small office area that’s mostly just a table and some plastic chairs. We keep the ledger there. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems. Everything is done by hand or with the old machines we’ve had for a decade. The neighborhood of Vinayaka Nagar is full of small units like ours. We all know each other. Sometimes we lend tools to the guys next door. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on getting the buckets made and sent out to the shops. It’s a long day’s work, but it’s what we know. We usually wrap up late in the evening.
