Devi Eye Hospital

You can find us at 434 on 18th Main, right there on the 80 Feet Road in Koramangala 6th Block. We are pretty easy to spot because we sit right across from the Koramangala Bus Depot. It’s a busy area, always a lot of buses and people moving around. The hospital has been part of this street for a long time. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of chairs and some eye testing machines. We spend the day looking at charts and helping people see a bit better. It gets loud outside with the bus horns, but we’re used to it by now. People come in from all over the city because the depot is right there. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a reception desk where you sign in. Sometimes the wait is short, sometimes it’s long, depending on how many people showed up that morning. The doctors are usually busy in the back rooms. We have some posters about eye care on the walls that have been there for years. It’s a practical place, not meant to be a luxury lounge. We just focus on the eyes and getting people their glasses or whatever else they need. The staff knows the regulars who come for their check-ups every few months. We keep the floors swept and the lights on, just doing what needs to be done every day. It’s a solid spot in a very active part of town.
