Devati Lights

Devati Lights is our small shop located at No. 32nd Cross in the 2nd Block of Rajaji Nagar. We spend our days surrounded by all kinds of lamps and bulbs. It’s actually quite bright in here, which you’d expect. We aren't a big showroom with a lot of polished floors and sales people in suits. It’s just us in a regular shop space. We have boxes stacked in the corners and displays that we’ve put up ourselves. Rajaji Nagar is a nice area, and being in the 2nd Block means we get a lot of locals walking by. Some people come in just to ask about a fuse or a simple wire, and we help them out. Other times, someone is looking to light up a whole room. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. If we have it, we’ll show it to you, and if we don't, we’ll tell you. The shop can get a bit messy when we’re testing out new fixtures, but that’s just how we work. We’ve been here for a while, so we know most of the people on our street. It’s a comfortable place to be. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just like lights and we like running our own business here in the neighborhood. It keeps us on our toes and pays the bills. Sometimes we even forget to turn off all the lights before we go home.
