Designers Desk

Designers Desk is right near Subhash Chowk on Gurukul Road in Ejipura, at number 15/1. It’s a busy corner of the world. There’s always someone shouting or a bike zooming past. Our space is small, but we make the most of it. We have desks pushed up against the walls and shelves full of samples and sketches. It’s not the kind of design studio you see in magazines. There are coffee rings on the tables and probably some dust on the computer screens. We spend our days drawing and talking about how to make things look right. Gurukul Road is a lively place to be, and it keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. We just do the work. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the place down the street. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down. The building itself is nothing special, but it’s our spot. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the projects we handle are done properly. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We like the challenge of a difficult layout. If you’re looking for a shiny office, this isn’t it. But if you want people who just work hard, that’s us.
