Design Thoughts

Our office for Design Thoughts is in Basavanagar, specifically at Chaitanya Dham 14/1 on 5Th A Cross. It’s right near the 24Th Main in the 2Nd Phase area. Finding us can be a little confusing because of the way the crosses are numbered around here, so we usually tell people to look for the big tree near the junction. The space is actually part of a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have a couple of large drafting tables and a lot of computers that hum all day long. I like the light we get through the front windows in the afternoon. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking to people about their ideas. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make way too much coffee. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains heavily, so we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a few years and know the local shopkeepers pretty well. It’s a relaxed place to work and we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We just focus on getting the designs right and making sure everything is ready for the site visits next day.
