Design Studio

Our studio is located at No.36/2 on the 9th Main in Sk Layout, over in the Gnanabharathi area. It’s a pretty standard workspace where we focus on various design projects. We chose this spot because it’s relatively quiet, which helps when we’re trying to finish a set of drawings. The inside of the studio is mostly desks, computers, and a lot of rolls of tracing paper. We don't have a fancy showroom or a marketing department. We just do the work. Most days involve us sitting around a large table looking at site plans or talking to engineers on the phone. Gnanabharathi is a good area to be based in, and we’ve gotten to know the local suppliers and contractors quite well. We handle a variety of work, from residential layouts to small commercial spaces. It’s not always easy, and there are plenty of days where we’re dealing with city permits or budget issues that move slowly. We try to be realistic with our clients about how long things take and what they will cost. We don’t use a lot of flowery language to describe our designs. If a layout is functional and fits the plot, that’s a good start. Sk Layout is our home base, and we’ve been here long enough that people know to look for the 9th Main sign to find us. It’s just a group of us trying to do decent work for the people nearby.
