Design Hub

Our office for Design Hub is on the first floor, at Number 991, over on 55th Cross in Rajaji Nagar. It is a bit of a walk up the concrete stairs, but it is a quiet enough space once you actually get inside and shut the door. We have our computers set up along the wall and a couple of large tables for drawing and messy planning sessions. Rajaji Nagar is a large, busy area, so there is always some kind of noise or construction going on around us. We spend most of our working hours staring at monitors or sketching out rough ideas on pads of paper. It is not a very big team here, just a few of us who have learned how to handle the different software programs. Sometimes we completely lose track of the time when we are deep into a complicated project. The natural light in the office is okay in the early mornings, but we usually have to keep the desk lamps on by the mid-afternoon. We do not really do a lot of fancy networking or social media stuff. Most people find out about us because they live in the neighborhood or heard our name from a friend. It is a very simple way to work. We have our tea, we do the designs, and then we head home. Some days are more stressful than others, but that is the nature of the business.
