Design Firm

Our office is a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the layout of Kumara Park West. We are on the 2nd floor of a building on Govinda Rao Street, right near 3rd Cross on Mysore Road. It’s block number two, house number five. The stairs are a bit narrow, so watch your step coming up. Design Firm is just a small group of us who enjoy the work. We moved here about three years ago because the rent was decent and it's close to where most of us live. The space isn't very big, so we have to stay organized, or at least we try to. There's always a lot of coffee being drank here. We handle a variety of projects for people in the neighborhood and further out. It gets noisy with the traffic from Mysore Road sometimes, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have any fancy receptionists or waiting rooms. You just walk in and talk to whoever is at the desk. We keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay late if a project is proving to be difficult. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the local shops around here, especially the one that sells the fried snacks in the evening. Most of our furniture we built ourselves to save space. It’s a honest living and we enjoy the people we meet.
