We’ve been at Krishna Residency in Kalyan Nagar for a while now, and it’s a decent place to work from. Our office is on the 5th Cross, tucked away in the 1st Block. Most days you’ll find a few of us here just sketching out plans or looking over site drawings on the big table. HRBR Layout is usually pretty busy, especially since we are so near to the Kalyan Nagar Outer Ring Road, but our spot stays quiet enough for us to get things done. It’s mostly about figuring out how to make a space work better for the people who actually have to live or work in it. Sometimes it is a small room change and other times we are looking at a whole new building design. We deal with a lot of measurements and paperwork that people don't always think about. The drawings can take longer than we expect sometimes because we like to make sure the lines actually match up with the real-world site. We have some old desks and way too many coffee mugs lying around the office. If you are walking past 5th Cross, you might see our sign near the entrance. We don't do anything fancy, just the design work people ask for. The traffic near the Ring Road can be a real pain in the evenings when we are heading home, but we like being in this part of Bangalore. Kalyan Nagar has changed a lot lately, but we are still here at number 719 doing our thing.
