Descons Structural Consultants

Our office, Descons Structural Consultants, is tucked away in the Girinagar area of Bangalore. We are at number 305, a building we call "Kanva" in the Bsk III Stage, I Phase. Being in Bangalore means there is always traffic outside, but inside we are usually hunched over blueprints and structural calculations. We’ve been in this spot for some time. It's a comfortable enough space for a small team of consultants. We don’t have a massive lobby or anyone greeting you at a front desk. It's more of a place where you'll find us drinking tea and arguing about load-bearing walls or concrete grades. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels quite local. We like it that way. It’s not too corporate. When people ask what we do, we just say we make sure buildings don’t fall over. It’s practical work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of drafting paper, but we manage. Bangalore-85 is our home base. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Karnataka, just a reliable one that people in the area know. Most of our clients just drop by the office when they need something looked at. It’s a simple setup. We keep the files organized and try to get the work out on time. That’s really all there is to our story here at Kanva. We just keep our heads down and do the math required for the structures we design.
