Desai Construction

We’re up on the 3rd floor at No 147/7 on the main road here in Sanjay Nagar. It’s a pretty good location, right across from the HDFC Bank and near the Radha Krishna Temple. You can usually hear the bells from the temple if the windows are open. Desai Construction has been operating out of this office for a while. We aren't the type of company with a big lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk up the stairs and find us working. We handle a lot of different building projects around this part of Bangalore. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping an eye on the details. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going from one site to another, so the office is mainly for the administrative stuff. We’ve got stacks of files and some old samples of tiles and bricks sitting in the corners. It’s a real working space. We don't go in for the polished corporate look because that’s not really who we are. We are builders at heart. We talk plain English and tell it like it is. If a job is going to take longer, we say so. If something costs more, we explain why. It’s just about being honest with people and doing a decent job. Sanjay Nagar is a nice place to be based, very local feel. We like it here and know the people well.
