We are over on Sheshadri Road, right by the K R Circle. Being part of the Department Of Agriculture for the Government Of Karnataka means we deal with a lot of different things every day. The building is right in the middle of everything, so it’s always busy with people coming in to ask about crops or schemes or just to get some paperwork signed. It’s a government office, so there are files everywhere and people rushing around with folders. It’s not always the fastest place in the world, but we do what we can to help the farmers who come in from all over. The area around K R Circle is quite historic and has some nice trees, though the traffic outside can be quite loud. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at desks, but we also have people going out into the fields to see what’s actually happening. It’s a mix of office work and trying to stay connected with the land. We’ve been in this location for a very long time, and the halls have that old building smell. We don’t have any fancy posters or modern designs, just the usual desks and chairs you’d expect. It’s a place of work where we try to keep things moving for the sake of the agricultural community here in the state. It’s a big responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time.
