Our business, Deluxe Tools And Equipments, is tucked away in Journalist Colony, specifically at number 19 on the 1st Cross. Most people know this whole area as JC Road. It’s famous for all the hardware and parts shops. If you come here, you know it’s crowded. There are bikes parked everywhere and people carrying heavy boxes. Our shop is no different. We have tools and different pieces of equipment stacked up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a new shipment arrives. The building at 19 is an old one, but it’s sturdy. We like being in the 1st Cross because it’s a tiny bit quieter than the absolute chaos of the main JC Road, but only just. You can still hear the shouting and the engines. We spend most of our time moving things around or checking what’s in stock. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains from over the years. It’s a working environment, not a museum. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. People come here because they know where we are. We’ve got the regular crowd who stops by. We drink tea from the stall at the corner while we wait for customers. It’s a messy, busy, honest way to make a living in this part of town. We just do our thing every day.
