Deepa Chemicals

We are located at 63, Shusheela Road, which is right near Lal Bagh. It’s an older part of town and the building has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Deepa Chemicals has been a fixture on this street for a long time. The area is always crowded with people heading toward the gardens, so there is a lot of energy right outside our door. Inside, the shelves are packed with bottles and jars, and there is usually a faint smell of various chemicals in the air. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are counting or measuring. We do a lot of business with small shops and local workshops who just need a few things at a time. It’s a lot of weighing out portions and writing out labels by hand. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve mostly stayed the same. We just keep doing what we know how to do. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we always manage to sort it out. It’s just a regular local business trying to be helpful and stay busy. We like the history of being near Lal Bagh and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
