Deccan Packers & Movers is tucked away in Kalasipalyam at No.A-1 in the Muneshwara Building. This part of town, especially the New Extension on the 2nd Main Road, is always moving. There is constant noise from the street and trucks coming in and out at all hours. We have been here for a while, dealing with boxes, tape, and bubble wrap day in and day out. It is a messy job sometimes. The office isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We spend most of our time out on the road or at people's houses anyway. Kalasipalyam is one of those old-school areas where everyone knows everyone else. You see the same faces every morning at the tea stall. Our work is pretty straightforward. People need things moved from one place to another without stuff breaking, so that is what we do. It is physical work, lifting heavy furniture and walking up narrow stairs. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains suddenly and we have to cover everything in plastic. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just a few of us and some trucks. The Muneshwara Building is easy to find once you get into the lane. We just try to keep things simple and get the packing done so people can get on with their lives in their new homes.
