We are situated at the Amma Nana Residence in Puttenahalli Palya, which is part of JP Nagar 7th Phase in Bangalore. It is a bit of a residential setting, but we have our office at A-2. The cargo business in a city like Bangalore is mostly a battle against the clock and the traffic. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and trying to figure out which routes will be the least congested. Our office is a basic one. We have our files, some computers, and a lot of empty coffee cups by the end of the day. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the cargo we are responsible for gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the rain in Bangalore makes everything twice as hard, and we just have to wait for the streets to clear. It’s a practical way of living. The staff here are all local and we know the area very well. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon. We just talk about weights, measures, and delivery times. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to emails about where a specific shipment is. It’s a lot of routine, but every day has its own little problems that need solving. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the neighborhood. It’s just what we do.
