Dcm Shriram Consolidated Ltd is based here at 442, on the 2nd Cross in Indiranagar. This part of Bangalore is always moving, but our street is a bit tucked away from the main noise. It’s a 1st Stage address, right on the 1st Main. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys don't need a map anymore. The office is spread out over a couple of rooms. It’s got that old Bangalore charm, I think. We have some plants on the balcony that we try to keep alive, though some are doing better than others. The work we do is pretty standard stuff—lots of coordinating and keeping track of files. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with a waterfall or anything like that. Just some chairs for when people drop by and a lot of shelf space for our records. The traffic in the city can be a nightmare, so we usually try to get in early to beat the rush. Once we’re here, it’s just a matter of getting through the tasks. We aren't big on meetings that last hours. We’d rather just talk across the room and get things settled. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps everyone on the same page without a lot of unnecessary fuss. We usually head out as soon as the work is done to avoid the evening gridlock.
