Davis Langdon & Seah

Our office is situated in Kirloskar Colony, which is a fairly quiet pocket of Bangalore compared to some of the busier hubs. We’re specifically at 43, 3rd Cross, 3rd Main in the 1st Stage area. It’s right near Shankar Mutt, so that’s usually the landmark we tell people to look for. Davis Langdon & Seah has been using this space as a base for our local projects for a while now. It’s a nice residential-feeling neighborhood, which makes coming to work a bit more relaxed than being stuck in a massive high-rise downtown. The building is a regular structure that fits right in with the houses around it. Inside, it’s just a bunch of us working on spreadsheets and project plans. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking figures. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. The trees around the colony provide a bit of shade, which is nice during the hotter months. We usually walk out for a coffee or some snacks at one of the small joints nearby. It’s a steady environment where we can actually focus without too many distractions. Bangalore 79 is a good place to be based. We’ve got our routine down, and the commute isn't the worst we've seen in this city. It’s just a solid, local office. We keep our files organized and try to stay ahead of our deadlines.
