Data Portal

Data Portal is up on the third floor of building 147 in Domlur. We are right on Rama Temple Street, at 14th Cross, which is very close to the BDA Complex. Since there’s no lift in our part of the building, we all get plenty of exercise climbing the stairs every morning. Our office is basically just a room filled with computer servers and several monitors. It can get a bit warm in here because of the machines, so we usually have all the fans running at full speed. We deal with a lot of data and technical stuff, which keeps us busy from morning until evening. There are only a handful of us, so it’s a very casual atmosphere. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. If something needs to be discussed, we just talk about it over lunch or at our desks. Domlur is a busy area, but being on the third floor keeps us away from some of the street noise. We’ve been here for quite some time now and we’ve seen the neighborhood grow and change around us. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to keep our systems running smoothly and help out the people who use our services. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of attention to detail, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it.
